Outsourced Marketing Department

Challenge

To serve as the de facto marketing department for a regional brokerage and insurance company group. The Michigan-based firm sought assistance with branding, identity, sales materials, and public relations materials.

Strategy

The series of projects included the development of a logo and corporate identity materials, followed by website development, brochures, and presentations. We established a clean and sophisticated look that would help the firm connect with both investors and insurance partners, promoting their competitive advantages across target markets. Because the firm does not have an in-house marketing department, they rely on the MBC team for content, design, strategy, and material development. The relationship has evolved and when they brought on a new partner for their advisory business, MBC created the messaging and materials for the announcement to both clients and the press.

Results

The initial branding package was completed in early 2007 and the relationship flourished as the company leveraged its new marketing package into the launch of TRG Capital Group and TRG Insurance, adding to the depth of product and service offerings across insurance and investment management. The series of follow-up projects helped the firm gain additional recognition in the area and in the investment community.
